I have always really loved fun fonts from found material and
I thought these were two really good examples of that. They are obviously very
different in many ways. Candy being a
sans serif and very bold is rigid yet playful because of its subject matter.
Although is has such a dense line quality to it, it still manages to have
whimsy and not weigh down the letterform. Hair
on the other hand is a lowercase font form, there are some hints at serifs and
they are in no way rigid. However physically different these two fonts may be I
think they are both beautiful and light. Both have a nice playful quality to
them, although not very practical unless you are opening a candy shop or hair
salon, they manage to be noticeable but not over whelming.
