Neon Boneyard
While exploring the internet I stumbled across some images of vintage neon signs that caught my attention. The combination of the metal, lighting, and type in all the signs, in addition to the range of the aesthetic looks that can be achieved with those simple materials, is what interests me the most. As I looked further into the signs I discovered a museum in Las Vegas that is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and showcasing vintage iconic Las Vegas strip signs called The Neon Museum. Within the museum is a collection called the Neon Boneyard which displays most of these vintage signs. Here are some examples of what signs can be found in the collection:
