I came across the work of Chris Ashworth a little while ago and was immediately taken by his work. For one, I like the grungy collage look he creates, but even more so, I love the way he uses type. Looking at some of his work makes me think about how far you are able to push it as a designer and still allow it to remain legible. What Ashworth seems to do is push it just to the point where it can't be read anymore and then just takes that one step back. It makes his work compelling and draws the viewer in, which is exactly what a designer is supposed to do.
