Getting the Lead Out, slowly

Dalton Ghetti is a sculptor whose works are created out of graphite pencil lead. His process is painstakingly slow, as he can only work about an hour on these tiny pieces before his eyes get tired. Many of his works take upwards of two years to complete using only a razor blade and a sewing needle. Pictured here is his Alphabet that took him approximately two and a half years to complete. Wow, that's dedication.
